     May I ask you something? (literally, "I will ask you something".)

2. to charge (a person with)
   • 책임을 묻다‎ ― chaegimeul mutda ― to charge (a person) with irresponsibility
3. (in negations) to care
   • 경험은 묻지 않음‎ ― gyeongheomeun mutji aneum ― no experience required
   • 승패는 묻지 않는다.‎

     Seungpaeneun mutji anneunda.

     It doesn't matter whether we win or lose.

Usage notes

To avoid confusion with 물다 (mulda, “to bite”), as in many conjugations both verbs sound and are spelled alike (both have the stem 물어 (mureo) due to irregular conjugations), in most usages the verb is ombined with 보다 (boda, “to try”) to form 물어보다 (mureoboda) to form the same meaning.
