1. from here, hence

   գնասցուք աստի‎ ― gnascʿukʿ asti ― come let us go hence

   աստի սկսանի թագաւորութիւնն Արշակայ‎ ― asti sksani tʿagaworutʿiwnn Aršakay ― here begins the reign of Arsaces

   աստի առ յապայ‎ ― asti aṙ yapay ― henceforward

2. (with ablative) this

   ի մարդոյ աստի‎ ― i mardoy asti ― from this man

   ի տանէ աստի‎ ― i tanē asti ― from this house

   աստի անտի‎ ― asti anti ― from all sides

   աստի եւ անտի‎ ― asti ew anti ― from here and to there
