   տալ գինս ընդ կերակրոյ‎ ― tal gins ənd kerakroy ― to give price for food

3. (with dative) marks the indirect object with some verbs

Usage notes

In compounds the word may sometimes change to ընտ- ‎(ənt-) by devoicing of դ ‎(d); ըն- ‎(ən-) when դ ‎(d) drops under the influence of the next consonant as in ընկեր ‎(ənker) from *ընդ-կեր ‎(ənd-ker); ըմ- ‎(əm-) before labial consonants as in ըմբոշխնել ‎(əmbošxnel) from *ընդ-բոշխնել ‎(ənd-bošxnel).
