Etymology
From Proto-Indo-European *mel-s-eh₂-. Cognate with Ancient Greek μέλεος (méleos, “idle, useless”), βλασφημέω (blasphēméō), Lithuanian mẽlas (“deceit”), Old Irish mell (“destruction”). Probably related with մոլորիմ (molorim), մոլիմ (molim) and perhaps մեղմեխ (mełmex) and մող (moł).
