     15. In addition, a prescription is given as follows: Marquess Kasem and High Count Phra Kaisi shall keep the legal codes within a chest fastened by a lock and shall deposit it with the royal court. Never shall they be allowed to bring the codes home. Should they need to compare a case [with the legal provisions, that is, to adjudicate the case], the comparison shall be done in the presence of the jury. If the comparison is right or wrong in whatever manner, the jury shall give aid and advice so that it be in line with the legal provisions. Moreover, the comparison of a case shall not be left pending. The comparison shall be completed within three days. This prescription is given on Tuesday, the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 6th month, the 1071st year of the Lesser Era, the Year of the Ox, Year One.

     [มาตรา ๑๔] อนึ่ง ถ้าเรือประเทียบล่ม ให้ชาวเรือว่ายน้ำหนี ถ้าอยู่กับเรือ โทษถึงตาย‎

     [Section 14] Furthermore, if a bprà-tîiap boat sinks, the crew shall swim away. Should they remain on the boat, death shall be their penalty.

     [Section 15] Furthermore, for those palace officers, court officers, and inner guards who are responsible for calling out paan bowls and fail to call out paan bowls, the penalty shall be mouth slitting. Should this happen at a royal ceremony where a state visitor pays respect to His Majesty, the entire family [of the guilty officer, including the officer himself] shall be put to death.

     [Section 37] Furthermore, if [officers] jointly drink liquor within the royal palace, liquor shall be boiled up hotly and poured into their throats before they are imprisoned.

     มาตรา ๒๖ ถ้าผู้แทนโดยชอบธรรมอนุญาตให้ผู้เยาว์จำหน่ายทรัพย์สินเพื่อการอันใดอันหนึ่งอันได้ระบุไว้ ผู้เยาว์จะจำหน่ายทรัพย์สินนั้นเป็นประการใดภายในขอบของการที่ระบุไว้นั้นก็ทำได้ตามใจสมัคร อนึ่ง ถ้าได้รับอนุญาตให้จำหน่ายทรัพย์สินโดยมิได้ระบุว่าเพื่อการอันใด ผู้เยาว์ก็จำหน่ายได้ตามใจสมัคร‎

     Section 26 Should the statutory agent permits the minor to dispose of property for any specifically defined purpose, the minor may, within the scope of that defined purpose, dispose of that property in whatever manner he pleases. Moreover, if the disposal of any property is permitted without the purpose thereof being specified, the minor may dispose of it at will.
