1. (diminutive suffix) Added to a word to express smallness or endearment.

   ház ‎(“house”) → házikó ‎(“small house”)

   láda ‎(“chest, box”) → ládikó ‎(“small chest/box”)

Usage notes

• (diminutive suffix) Harmonic variants:

  -ikó is added to back vowel words

  -ikő is added to front vowel words
