1. Contraction of σε τα ‎(se ta, “to the”).

   Έδωσα το φαϊ στα σκυλιά. (I gave the food to the dogs.)

   Κολυμπούσε στα ρηχά νερά. (He was swimming in shallow water.)

   Φτάσαμε στα σύνορα. (We arrived at the border.)
